Larry is a visionary leader who values the pursuit of a goal based on genuine belief. His passion for serving the underserved was cultivated when he became a campus pastor of a church campus in South Baltimore City.
While in Brooklyn, He lead teams that provided weekly showers and meals for those experiencing homelessness, ran a food pantry that delivered and distributed food weekly to dozens of families, provided work for Baltimore Youth Works employees and served alongside many nonprofit entities and community stakeholders in the community. He also organized the delivery of over 500 meals daily to school students in South Baltimore during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Larry has served as a member of the Anne Arundel County Executive's Interfaith Advisory Council (2020-2025), The Greater Baybrook Alliance Violence Reduction Committee (Brooklyn/Curtis Bay), and facilitated an in school mentoring program at Ben Franklin High School in South Baltimore.
His ultimate desire is to see marginalized communities empowered to make advancements in their own community. He believes in the power of the people to impact their own.
